On the other hand, malls "Down Under" nearly always have a grocery store or two. Greater Sydney's WESTFIELD BURWOOD, a 1999-2000 rebuild of a circa-1966 enclosed mall, houses Coles and Woolworths grocery stores. BTW, Woolworths supermarkets in Australia were never associated with America's defunct F.W. Woolworth 5 & 10 chain.

The entrance of the "Woolies" at Greater Melbourne's CHADSTONE CENTRE. This gargantuan "shopping precinct" houses three grocery stores. In addition to the Woolworths seen here, there are Coles and Aldi operations.
